Ms. Ibrahim's 4th graders had a lot of fun at our Color Run last week! They enjoyed cotton candy, freezies, and a little spray from our Sioux Falls Fire Department!







Walk to school with your child tomorrow, Wednesday, October 2nd. Walk to School Day is a great way for students to start out their day by walking (or riding a bike to school) with you and it promotes walkable communities.
Mrs. Saavedra's 4th graders are 'system engineers' trying to figure out why the city of Ergstown is having blackouts. They used their "scholar glasses" to think like scientists as they wrote an email back to the mayor of Ergstown.

We had so much fun celebrating our students last week as they earned enough SOAR slips to participate in the Terry Redlin Elementary Color Run! We had fun! It is Homecoming Week at Lincoln High School starting on Monday! As one of their elementary feeder schools, we are going to celebrate with them with themed dress up days for student and staff!

We think the staff had as much fun as the students today at the Terry Redlin Color Run! Keep watching for more pictures!

Mrs. Ounnarath's Kindergarten class is learning about prepositions - in front of, behind, under, next to, on, and even on top of chairs. They are always learning (and having fun)!


You know it is a good day when you get to hang out with Toby, our licensed therapy dog, in the Library! Mrs. Gould's 4th and 5th graders spent some time reading books with Toby and Mrs. Hage.

We did it! Students at Terry Redlin Elementary earned over 6,000 SOAR slips! Today is the day - It's Color Run Day! Join us on the playground this afternoon! Kindergarten and 1st grade start at 1pm, 2nd and 3rd grades start at 1:30pm, and 4th and 5th grades start at 1:55pm. This will be fun!!
We honored students this morning at Terry Redlin Elementary during our very first ever SOARing Students breakfast celebration! Each month, we will recognize our students for showing our values of self-control, ownership, positive attitude, and being respectful. Familes were able to hear why their child was nominated this month from their teacher, heard a positive message from Assistant Superintendent Dr. Nold, enjoyed donuts and juice, and celebrated their child! We are proud of our incredible SOARing students and families!










Rock, Paper, Scissors and math facts? 1st graders practiced a version this game and were learning how to add! We have fun at Terry Redlin while we learn! Nice work, Ms. Sylvester's 1st graders!
