
The food pantry at Terry Redlin will be open today and every Tuesday that school is in session. Remember to show your blue ID card at Door B. If you need an ID card, please stop in the school office. The food pantry is open every Tuesday from 4-5pm.

We found Ms. Vanden WynGaard's 1st grade celebrating with a little dance party this week! We work hard, we have fun, and we learn at Terry Redlin Elementary!




We have our first winners for the lunchroom Golden Spatula Award! Mrs. Kayl's first graders showed SOARing behavior at lunch including being respectful while eating, quieting down for dismissal, picking up their garbage before leaving their spot, and being respectful to others in the lunchroom including peers and adults. Way to go!


The Terry Redlin Elementary Color Run is this week! You are invited to come and watch as the event will take place at the school playground!

Did you know you can walk to school with your friends? Join Mr. Thom and your friends every morning at the Whittier Townhomes and walk to school. They meet on the playground and leave right at 7:30am. They even have treats (donut holes) some mornings!


Mrs. Amdahl and Mrs. Naasz's Kindergarten classes celebrated earning all of the eagles in their nests for getting in line and ready to go inside quickly after recess! They each enjoyed some free iPad time with a buddy and finished up with some movement fun! Way to go!

Thank you to all of our amazing helpers during Family Fun Night! We had a great community resource fair, amazing face painters, and you could even get some hair accessories! It was a great night with our families! Did you get your photo taken in the photo booth?

4th graders in Mrs. Schneider's class were given 2 new parts (buzzer and a led light) for an electrical system during Science class. They were challenged to make the new electrical devices function! They didn’t know what the devices were and were surprised when the buzzer starting making noise and the light lit up!

Mrs. Siegel's third grade class are pen pals with students at CTE who are taking a baking class. The CTE students sent a letter and delicious cookies for the students!




The Terry Redlin staff wants to share a very special thank you to the Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation as our staff enjoyed an early Fall treat of apples and toppings. We are always appreciative of the Education Foundation and all it provides for our staff and students!

Mrs. Goscicki's 1st and 2nd graders had a lot of fun today choosing and tasting different type of apples! There were lots of smiles and we hear the apples tasted great!
