5th graders read the book, Christmas Jars, as an annual 5th grade tradition and were inspired to help others! They raised money through bubble gum sales and gave out 4 jars to those in need with the money raised. They went to deliver them to the families around town and to one nonprofit, Sleep in Heavenly Peace, who provides beds for kids in need in our community (4th and 5th graders make tie blankets for them each month as well through Kids Care). What a valuable lesson to learn the value of giving back! Way to go!

Students in Kindergarten and 2nd grade had a lot of fun making Christmas trees with PE materials! So creative!

Here are the High Flyers from last week! Congrats on being respectful, responsible, and safe!

Kids had fun at their winter holiday parties! Thanks to our volunteers for putting on the parties full of fun! Have a wonderful break!

Students enjoyed listening to ACE alum, JT Rock, read to them on Monday! He shared his experiences from college and playing basketball for the University of New Mexico Lobos! They loved asking him questions and mostly, "How tall are you?" The answer 7'1"! Thank you for being a good role model to our students and taking time to come in and read! Good luck on the remainder of your season!

Third graders enjoyed singing songs to the residents at Dow Rummel! They made holiday decor to put on their doors and then played tic tac toe, word searches, and crosswords together. Thanks to the parents for driving and helping!

4th and 5th graders volunteered in our community though Kids Care. There are so many valuable lessons learned by volunteering and helping others. Thanks to our parents for driving and helping out!

Great work, High Flyers! Way to be respectful, responsible, and safe!

Earlier this month we went swimming and had lots of fun!

Last weekend families had a great time at the Snowflake Shuffle! Thanks to Shelley Gaddis for organizing and for all families who had booths. Fun memories!

The 4th and 5th graders volunteered at different businesses for Kids Care last month! Thanks for serving our community!
