The Valentine's Day Parties were a "sweet" success! The smiles and laughs tell a fun story of a great day with many happy memories! There were so many creative boxes as always too! Big thanks to our room parents who planned all of our parties this year!! You rock! Thanks to all of the parents who helped volunteer for the parties!

Signing our compliment hearts in Family is always a fun tradition! Each kid gets a heart with their name on it and then kids get to go around and write positive compliments on them! It is such a cool thing to watch as they get back to their own heart and get to see the joy in their eyes as they read the nice things everyone had to say! Spread some joy today to those around you by giving someone a compliment and watch their face light up! Happy Valentine's Day!
February 8th marked the 100th day of school for our All City kiddos! The kindergarteners and first graders dressed up like they were 100 years old and celebrated 100 in many different ways throughout the day! The whole school participated in a scavenger hunt for 100 eagles throughout their classrooms and hallways! We are still searching for 3 missing eagles...eithethe teachers might have hid them too well or they can't remember where they put them!!! 😂😂😂
We celebrated Sports Day as a school in honor of the Super Bowl on February 9th! It was fun!
Feb. 26th is our next Pizza Ranch Fundraiser from 5-8 pm! Come support our school!!
Miss Leloux's third graders had a two week Super Reader Reading Challenge! Students were encouraged to read at least 2 hours at home per week of the challenge. The students were divided into two teams (Chiefs and 49ers). In our competition, the 49ers won! Thanks to all students for working hard! Students voted on team MVPs. Throughout the Super Bowl Week, students learned about the Star Spangled Banner, Roman Numerals, read football stories, did football math/spelling words, had daily team huddles, focused on sportsmanship, learned about the offensive positions, made predictions about the Super Bowl, had a yummy Tailgate Party, and finalized everything with an award ceremony! It was a blast!
We just keep practicing, we just keep practicing, we just keep practicing kinda like the characters just keep swimming and swimming and swimming in Finding Nemo! March 21 will be here before we know it!

The 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders in ULE were a part of a sheep dissection lab with Mr. Robinson (our ULE teacher's husband) today! They compared the sheep brain to our human brains to compare and contrast the two. Great questioning, collaborative learning, and imaginative inferencing was so exciting to see! We also had several future biologists brave enough to hold it!!! So cool! What a great learning experience!
