Thank you for the support of the School Store this year! Also, big shout out to the Rock family for their help and dedication to the School Store over the years! Thank you for your time and efforts!

Our annual tug of war event during Family is always a fun time! It was kindergarten vs. first grade, second vs. third, and fourth vs. fifth. Good times!

The Fire Safety House visited our third graders today, and the students learned so many important safety tips! From practicing how to safely escape a fire to remembering the importance of knowing their home address, it was a hands-on learning experience they won’t forget.
Make sure your family practices a fire escape plan at home and checks that smoke detectors are working properly. Need smoke detectors? Call 211 for assistance! 🔥🏠🚨

Third graders traveled to Good Earth State Park to learn about the history of the land and take in the sights and sounds of the trails. They got to have a picnic, then they watched a movie on the history of the state park, did a scavenger hunt in the museum, and took on the trails on a beautiful sunny day! Thanks to our parents for driving!

🍎✨ Last week it was Teacher Appreciation Week and it has reminded us just how lucky we are to have such an incredible staff in our building. Every single day, our teachers and staff go above and beyond for students — showing patience, kindness, creativity, encouragement, and love in ways that often go unseen. Our school is a better place because of all of YOU.
And from all of us on staff — THANK YOU to everyone who helped make Teacher Appreciation Week so special for all staff! The treats, meals, notes, gifts, decorations, and kind words meant so much to us. We felt incredibly loved, celebrated, and appreciated all week long.

Our last swimming outing was so much fun! The students had an absolute blast soaking up the fun, making memories, and celebrating the end of an awesome school year together. Even some of the teachers (Miss Nelson & Miss Leloux) joined in on the fun! It's always fun seeing students and staff making memories together both in and out of the classroom. What a great day filled with smiles and lots of laughs!

Our very own, Mrs. Brue, got nominated and then chosen as a cupcake winner from the Sioux Falls Public Schools Education Foundation for teacher appreciation week! Whoohoo! Congrats!

Our 4th & 5th grade Bike Trip was an absolute blast last Wednesday! From laughs along the trail to unforgettable memories with friends, this day was full of fun, adventure, and smiles all around. So thankful for the memories made and the time spent together and it was definitely a trip we won’t forget! Thanks to all of the parents who participated as well and helped with food.

Third graders had a busy afternoon and buzzed over to Dow Rummel after the circus. They interviewed the residents about their life and will type up the interview and give it to them as a gift on our last visit next month. We love our time visiting the residents!

The 4th and 5th grade class trip is a beloved tradition that always creates unforgettable memories! This year, our students had an amazing time exploring the Omaha Zoo. A big thank you to all the parent volunteers who joined us and helped make the day so special.

Step right up! 🎪
Our K–3rd graders had the chance to experience the magic of the circus last Friday, and it did not disappoint! From the moment the show began, they were hooked—taking in all the bright lights, lively music, and incredible acts. There were wide eyes, lots of laughs, and constant chatter about their favorite parts.
It was such a fun-filled day packed with excitement, wonder, and unforgettable moments. Safe to say… the circus was a hit! Big thanks to Mrs. Rausis for providing all the kids with glow sticks! So fun!

April 22 was Administrative Professionals Day! Thank you, Beckahh, for all you do in the office to keep our day running smoothly.

The 4th and 5th graders performed their spring orchestra and band concerts for the other kids and parents. They will also have an evening performance. Thanks for all of your hard work and to Mrs. Anderson for leading the charge!
