Reminder that we have fall conferences this Thursday and next Tuesday!

Mr. McHenry's 8th grade social studies classes started their Revolutionary War unit with creating battle plans. Each group had a leader (George Washington) and then the continental army was under "his" direction to create successful plans. Since they made battle plans at night by candlelight, the students used flashlights in the dark to recreate the scene.

Team 8-3 students were busy learning the difference between Loyalists and Patriots. As they visited various stations, they uncovered information about life in the colonies before the Revolutionary War. Would they find the spy in the group? Whose side would they take?

We are so proud of the amazing performance our students had at the Festival of Bands this past weekend. Thank you to all the staff and students for all of their hard work. We are so proud of you!

Students from Mrs. Green's speech class visited Inspiration Elementary and spent time reading to students. Not only does this give our Bison students the opportunity to practice their reading, but gives young learners the chance to be read to! We are thrilled we can partner with our neighbors to support all of our learners in the community.

Please consider donating to this amazing cause!
